slaking

fiddling around with water, usually children in a kitchen: Cut out that slaking you kids!!
Contributor's comments: This was a word commonly used by my family when I grew up in the South East of South Australia (50's and early 60's). When we'd be mucking around at the sink, playing with water, my Mum would say "Cut out that slaking you kids!!".
