thankyou Deanna

someone who states the bleeding obvious (taken from Deanna Troy, counsellor from Next Gen): Commercial radio plays a lot of adverts - thankyou Deanna.

Contributor's comments: I've never heard "Thank you Deanna" but in South Australia you sometimes hear "Comment Wally May!" This is said when a person has made a remark worthy of comment - not necessarily "the bleeding obvious" but perhaps something particularly witty or apt, or occasionally something embarrassing. Wally May was a popular football commentator on television. Other commentators calling a televised match would invite Wally's succinct remarks with the words, "Comment, Wally May."
