Binjour Bear
A type of yowie, or possibly escaped ape, living in the Binjour Plateau area. (It does exist!!): Benny was scared witless by his first encounter with the Binjour Bear.
Contributor's comments: The Binjour Bear was used when my husband grew up in the 50's in Gayndah and even then no-one knew when it happened, but allegedly a circus caravan overturned and let loose a bear that was never caught and it came to live comfortably in the area.
