YMCA dinner

leftovers (yesterday's muck cooked again): We had YMCA for dinner last night.

Contributor's comments: I recall using this regularly when we were kids in the early 80's, generally on a Sunday night and my parents still use the phrase.

Contributor's comments: It's already on your Top 10 list but not under "Y" yet: "I would just like to tell you how much my wife and I enjoy this site. We first had a great laugh over "Tuck shop ladies arms". Then my wife came home from tennis one day and told me how she had heard one of the women players complaining of gaining weight and suggesting that she might be developing "Tuck shop ladies arms", so it is used here in Brisbane but we discovered it on your site first. I have just found "Y.M.C.A. dinners" and will start to use it in my speech from now on. We are going to a friend's house for a meal tomorrow night and will be able to use it immediatly. Thanks."

Contributor's comments: YMCA was used frequently by our family in Auckland in the '80's so maybe the NZer's have brought it to Sydney and Brisbane areas.
