One's right arm becomes more tanned than the left, from being constantly rested on the open window while driving. This condition is more prevelant in transport workers. Sadly, with more and more vehicle's now fitted with air-conditioning the occurance of drivers arm is on the decline: When talking to a truckie or courier driver....G'day mate,I see you got a bit of drivers arm syndrome happening.
Contributor's comments: I have heard this term used in this context but not just for transport workers but anyone with a tan more pronounced on their right arm.
