Contributor's comments: A prawn is also an 'idiot' or to use the colloquial, a 'dick-head'. Also 'don't come the raw prawn' is an old favourite of mine, which means 'don't bull-shit/lie to me'.
Contributor's comments: Have heard it used occassionally in Sydney, particularly in the gay community... with the accompanying explanation (when required) that a prawn is something you "have to rip the head off to enjoy".
