lazy wind

a cold, biting wind, i.e. too lazy to go around you, goes through you: It's a lazy wind today!

Contributor's comments: I remember this one from my childhood on a farm near Bacchus Marsh.

Contributor's comments: "Lazy wind" may be too wide-spread to be regionalism. I have heard it in the South Burnett (Qld), Brisbane and Canberra.
