wild or bush cattle meat as opposed to wild buffalo meat - red meat was often favored (by both Aboriginal and European people) over buffalo as it was harder to come by but more particulary beacause of its higher fat content: I got some red meat yesterday make a good change from buffalo. I got plently of buffalo in the freezer but the family coming tomorrow and I want to give them some red meat.
