Safe, Easy and Comfortable

Alternative description of work at the former State Electricity Commission. Outsiders (and a few of the workers I'll bet) described a day's work in the SEC power stations as Safe, Easy and Comfortable: You know what's it's like working down at Loy Yang - safe, easy and comfortable.

Contributor's comments: The 'S" in SEC was also referred to as Slow.

Contributor's comments: There was a time when the alternative "Seldom Ever Connected" was popular. [I think resulting from a quip by Graham Kennedy on IMT]

Contributor's comments: In Melbourne, it was commonly 'Slow, Easy and Comfortable', and after 33 years employed by the SEC can confirm it was rarely if ever used inside the organisation.
