Contributor's comments: I grew up in the 50s &60s in Western Victoria. These were always referred to as "pushers" by my mother and everybody else who used the item. I had never heard the term "stroller" used until moving to NSW in the 80's. In overseas travel I have heard to term "push chair" used by mothers in the USA for the same item.
Contributor's comments: 'Pusher' was definitely used in Tasmania in the 1950s and 60s - I had to switch to 'stroller' for my own children as I married a New South Welshman. He in turn used the term 'pusher' for an implement of baby cutlery shaped like a 'T' used for pushing food into a spoon (I think) - Tasmanian babies seemed to be able to manage a standard spoon and fork without requiring this odd implement.
