tunnel ball

Game played at Primary School where teams of 8 line up facing the front, with an arms length between players. A ball like a netball or soccer ball is then rolled along the ground, and must pass through the open legs of each player till it reaches the end of the line. This person then runs to the front of the line and rolls the ball towards the back again. The game ends when the player or captain who was at the front when the game started receives the ball at the back, and runs foward across a finishing line. I can remember playing this in the 1960's (Northern S.A ). Still being played today at the same school: We played tunnel ball at the sports day.

Editor's comments: I think this game is pretty universal. Can anyone deny?
