Contributor's comments: I recently attended a field trip with my niece's playgroup in Wollongong and I heard a four-year-old boy teasing another child by saying that he belonged in Ward 20. As I understand it, Ward 20 was shut down over twenty years ago, but now I realise that its reference is common even among those who weren't alive long enough to know of it. It has become just another idiomatic expression in the Illawarra!
