The Sydney street directory which became a household name during the 1980s: We're lost, quick, grab the Weldon's!!!
Contributor's comments: I grew up in the 80s in the Blue Mountains, and this is the first time I've heard of Weldon's. Definitely UBD is understood to mean any street directory in general. I worked in bookstores in Sydney from 1999 to 2002, and this is what the customers asked for (well, apart from the tourists from Melbourne who asked for 'Melways', even though they wanted a Sydney map, and those from Brisbane who had us all flumoxed with 'Refedex').
