Contributor's comments: The Meccano set is a huge bank of traffic lights & overhead signs at an enormous intersection on the Hume Highway, near Liverpool in Sydney.
Contributor's comments: Sure, the coathanger is a meccano set, but that intersection on the Hume Highway is the real meccano set. Growing up on the other side of the harbour, I only heard the name when I moved closer to it.
