Contributor's comments: An aunt I visited in Adelaide in the late 50's referred to 'fritz' as in "buy some sliced fritz for lunch". It was some type of manufactured meat. Don't know if it was pork.

Contributor's comments: In Adelaide, children in the schoolyard who didn't have a sandwich consisting of fritz and sauce were generally considered to have been abused.
