Jeffed

To be treated very badly by some form of authority, usually being made redundant from the Public Service. Very common during the Jeff Kennet term of office: Sorry mate, can't afford to go to the footy. I've been Jeffed. Probably very Victorian.

Contributor's comments: Very Victorian and very recent. Very common use around where I work (in the public service) - if anything bad happens to you, you've been jeffed. It's a wonderfully evocative term.
